9 Beginning and ending a cover seam

W6 tip
The quality of the thread and of the needles has a decisive influence on the
appearance of a seam. In order to avoid unnecessary mistakes right from
the start, we strongly recommend using only W6 thread and W6 needles.
9.1.1 Starting the sewing process with the cover
Prerequisite:
•
The needle threads (orange, blue, green) have been threaded correctly
according to the manual.
•
The hook thread (brown) has been threaded correctly according to the
manual.
Please proceed as follows:
1.
The needle threads protrudes approx. 10 cm
to the left on the presser foot.
2.
The brown hook thread has been threaded
correctly into the hook system
• the hook thread hangs down in the hook
system of the cover.
• the hook thread is cut approx. 10 cm after
the hook threading tip so that the thread
is not too long and cannot become
entangled in the hook system of the
cover.
ATTENTION: Now, close the front cover hook flap.
