1.2 Instructions for use
Please observe the following points when handling the cover:
•
When unpacking, take care to choose a secure surface on which to
unpack the cover safely.
•
Keep animals and objects away from the area around the cover.
•
Always use the cover on a sturdy, clean and flat surface. W6
WERTARBEIT offers a robust, noise-reducing underlay for your
sewing workstation as an optional accessory.
•
Keep children away from the cover.
•

•
Replace defective or damaged parts of the cover immediately. Only
use original spare parts!
•
Exchange needles regularly. Worn or damaged needles pose a hazard.
Only use W6 WERTARBEIT ELX705 needles of size 80 or 90 for this
cover.
•
Spare parts and tools must comply with the technical requirements
laid down by the manufacturer. This is always assured in the case
of original spare parts.
•
Perform maintenance in the manner described in this manual.
•
Respect the intervals for recurring maintenance work.
•
Rectify faults only with the cover switched off. In addition, unplug the

•
Never change, dismantle or bypass the safety measures.
•
Never deactivate the safety measures.
•
Never undertake constructional changes to the cover.
•
Never use the cover in the outside where it is exposed to the
elements.
•
Switch the cover off immediately in the event of a malfunction.
•
W6 WERTARBEIT offers frequent sewers an annual inspection (at
the owner's expense). Normal use requires an inspection every two
to four years.
