11.2.2 Oiling the cover

Risk of injury posed by unexpected start-up

The foot controller is on the floor. This can lead to the cover starting up

unexpectedly if the foot controller is activated by, for example, a child, a

sufficiently heavy pet, an object or accidental pressing by the user

themselves.

►

Always unplug the power plug before replacing the presser foot.

Risk of material damage

Unsuitable oil might damage your cover.

Only use acid-free and resin-free oil, such as our W6 sewing machine oil

Regularly oil the lubrication points of the hook as well as other reachable

moving metal parts of the cover with a few drops of W6 oil.
