1. Brown thread guide path (threading the lower looper)
Threading
Prerequisite:
•
The cover is switched off, the front cover hook flap is open.
•
The plug has been disconnected from the mains.
•
The cover is loaded with four spools.
•
The telescopic arm is fully extended.
•
The presser foot is in the upper position (only then can the tension discs
be disengaged).
Please proceed as follows:
1.
At threading position 1 (far right), thread the brown thread from behind
through the hole of the large oval metal bend of the thread guide of the
telescopic arm.
2a.
Pull the brown thread under tension to threading position 2a with both
hands laterally from left to right below the long small pre-tension metal arm
hook. When the brown thread engages into pre-tension 2a, you will hear it
click into place.
Attention: A pre-tension can only be built up if you hear an engagement
sound. Failure to observe this will result in an incorrect seam pattern.

Keep holding the brown thread taut and pull it to the right side from right to
left under the small round metal plate.
