Check the threading. See “Threading” >

Check whether the thread has become
entangled in the thread guide path
Insert the needle correctly. See “Changing
needles” > “Inserting a needle“ (page 35)
Insert a new needle as the old one may be
bent or blunt
Only use high-quality, tension-friendly and
lint-free W6 WERTARBEIT thread.
Check the metal needle plate, presser foot and
the hook for damage such as strikes or
scratches
Faulty or skipped
stitches
Insert the needle correctly. See “Changing
needles” > “Inserting a needle“ (page 35)
Insert a new needle as the old one may be
bent or blunt
Tighten the needle clamp. See “Changing
needles” > “Inserting a needle“ (page 35)
Change the needle size.
