Inserting a needle
Changing needles
2.
Loosen the needle clamp screw by means of the Allen key.
ATTENTION: Always loosen all needle clamp screws (a bit)
3.
Hold the needle with the flat side to the back (see Figure 2 point 2).
ATTENTION: Insert the first needle and fix it in place by lightly tightening the
corresponding needle clamp screw. The flattened side of the needle must
point to the back.
4.
Fasten the needle clamp screw with the Allen key (see Figure 1 point 2).
ATTENTION: Afterwards, insert the second and third needle. Fix them
loosely in place.
5.
The 3 needles must be in the highest position on the stop of the needle
piston.
ATTENTION: Wrong! Needle C
has not been inserted correctly.
Right! The needles C, D, E have
been inserted correctly in the
highest position on the needle
piston at the encircled viewing
windows of the needle piston.
6.
Only fix the 3 needles completely in place if they have reached this
position on the stop of the needle piston. Tighten the needle clamp
screws with the Allen key (see Figure 1 point 2).
ATTENTION: If the needles have been inserted correctly, the needles
on the right seem to be a little longer than the needles on the left.
