Connecting to an attachment quick
coupler, hydraulic
(optional equipment)
WARNING
Risk of crushing.
Falling attachment could result in severe injury or
death.
Make sure that the attachment, hydraulic hoses and
connections are undamaged and securely
fastened.
1 Place the machine on firm and level ground.
2 Lower the dozer blade and the boom to the
ground.
3 Press the attachment quick coupler switch to
open the attachment quick coupler (unlock
position). See page
194
for operating of the
attachment quick coupler. When the attachment
quick coupler is being opened, a warning symbol
appears on the display unit, the central warning
lamp lights up and the buzzer sounds (unlock
position).
4 Hook the attachment quick coupler onto the
hammer pin.
5 Slowly curl in the attachment quick coupler
completely towards the hammer.
6 Press the switch (lock position) to lock the
hammer in position.
7 A message in the display unit will inform you that
the attachment is locked to the attachment quick
coupler. Check that the attachment really is
properly connected.
Press the left attachment quick coupler switch to
confirm that the attachment quick coupler is
locked.
8 Lift and curl in the hammer fully towards the
dipper arm and hold it there for approximately 5
seconds to ensure the attachment quick coupler
has fully locked on to the hammer.
