A. Turn the side Tray Clamps (B) and center Tray Clamp (C) 90 degrees to allow
the trays to be placed in the feeder.
B. Pull the Spring Loaded Tray Clamps (A) back
to slide the trays into position. Ensure the tray
is placed so that the front lip of the trays is
under the
Stationary Tray Clamps and the
side of the tray is pressed against the center
datums.
C. If the tray lip doesn’t fit under the Stationary
Tray Clamps (D) , loosen the screws and
adjust the clamps as necessary. They may be
raised or lowered to adjust to different tray
thicknesses or rotated to accommodate
different tray orientations.
Note: If using Jedec Trays which are thicker than standard Jedec tray thickness
(>7.62mm) do NOT use side Tray Clamps. Using the side clamps on trays which exceed
this thickness will result in a collision between the Tray Carriage and the Bridge.
The Tray Feeder is now ready to operate. Feeder settings will be configured later in this
chapter in the Job Wizard section.
