6.2.2.3 Manufacturer-specific error codes
Error code
Meaning
0x2300
A fatal error caused by overcurrent.
Causes:
•
Short-circuit or interruption of a motor phase
•
Damaged power output stage
•
Overspeed
•
Sudden voltage drop
•
Current controller incorrectly set
•
No voltage or pole pair calibration
If the EMCY message still occurs after calibration, the position encoder may be
defective. The drive must be replaced.
4210
Error due to excess temperature of the CPU board.
When the temperature has fallen below the cut-out threshold, the error code can
be deleted with STW.7 "Reset error".
4280
Error due to drop-out of the temperature sensor on the CPU board.
When the temperature sensor reacts again, the error code can be deleted with
STW.7 "Reset error".
4290
Warning due to excess temperature of the CPU board.
When the temperature has fallen below the warning threshold, the error code is
deleted automatically.
4310
Error due to excess temperature of the power output stages.
When the temperature has fallen below the cut-out threshold, the error code can
be deleted with STW.7 "Reset error".
4380
Error due to drop-out of the temperature sensor for the power output stages.
When the temperature sensor reacts again, the error code can be deleted with
STW.7 "Reset error".
4390
Warning due to excess temperature of the power output stages, see object
0x2E02 subindex 3 on page 210.
When the temperature has fallen below the warning threshold, the error code is
deleted automatically.
