In the Main Menu, choose Instrument Controls > Communication 
Settings > 

Instrument ID

Communication Protocol

The Communication Protocol screen is used to change the instrument 
communication protocol for serial communications. This does not affect 
communications over Ethernet, because the protocols are processed 
simultaneously on different ports.
