6.7.2.3. SELECTING A HESSEN PROTOCOL TYPE
Currently there are two versions of Hessen Protocol in use. The original
implementation, referred to as
TYPE 1 , and a more recently released version, TYPE 2
that has more flexibility when operating with instruments that can measure more than
one type of gas.

To select a Hessen Protocol Type press:

EXIT discards the new
setting.
ENTR accepts the
new setting.

buttons to
choose the
Hessen type.

Note While Hessen Protocol Mode can be activated independently for RS-232
and COM2, the TYPE selection affects both Ports.
