3.2 LOCATION

Location of the equipment is important to achieve proper performance and normal

operating life. The PA7300 should be installed in areas where the following conditions exist:

• Protection from rain or moisture.

• Protection from direct sunlight.

• Protection from corrosive gases or liquids.

• Free from airborne dust or metallic particles.

• Free from vibration.

• Free from magnetic noise (e.g. welding machines, power units)

• Ambient temperature:

+14 to 104˚F, -10 to +40˚C (For enclosed type)

+14 to 113˚F, -10 to +45˚C (For open chassis type)

• Free from combustible materials, gases, etc.

When mounting multiple units in a common enclosure, install a cooling fan or some other

means to cool the air entering the AC Drive to at least 113ºF (45ºC) or below.
