SMS URL:
case sensitive and must be between 1 and 500 Unicode characters. The number of parameters must
be between 4 and 10. This SMS URL is only for setup purposes. No SMS message will be sent after setup is
completed. The format of this URL is provided by the SMS service provider, and the URL must include the
following parameters: username, password, destination phone, and message content.
Using Clickatell as an example, a sample URL would be the following (reference only):
https://api.clickatell.com/http/sendmsg?user=TestUser&password=TestPassword&api_id=3148203&to=8861234
56789&text=Hello+world
Please note that in "message content" parameter, the space between "Hello" and "world" will be replaced by the
particular character defined by the service provider.
Manage Mobile Devices and Instant Messaging Notifications
Click the
Push Service
section to set up mobile device and instant messaging notifications.
To enable mobile device notifications:

Tick
Enable mobile device notifications
, and then click
Apply
.

Install and launch
DS finder
on your mobile device, and then add your DiskStation to the
Favorite
list to pair
your mobile with the DiskStation. For more information, refer to its Help file.

Click
Send a test message
and then click
OK
to send a test notification. Now you can launch DS finder on
your mobile device to check whether the test message is received.
To manage paired mobile devices:

Click
Manage paired devices
to see the list of all paired mobile devices.

If you want to unpair any of the devices, select them and click
Unpair
. (Press and hold Shift or Ctrl while
making multiple selections.) No notification will be sent to them unless you pair them up again.
To enable instant messaging notifications:

Tick
Enable Windows Live Messenger notifications
and/or
Enable Skype notifications
, and then
click
Apply
.

Enter one or more instant messaging accounts in the
Windows Live Messenger account
and/or the
Skype
account
field.
Note:
For each instant messaging program, the maximum number of accounts is 2. You must separate them with
';'.

Log in to your instant messaging program to accept friend invitation from Synology's push service.

Click
Send a test message
and then click
OK
to send a test notification. Now you can launch your instant
messaging program to check whether the test message is received.
Access Applications with Independent Login
Go to
Main Menu
>
Control Panel
>
Application Portal
to configure connection settings of applications, which
allows you to run the applications in an independent browser window without logging in to DSM. These
connection settings include customizing portal aliases, HTTP and HTTPS ports.
Note:
Applications whose connection settings can be configured via Application Portal are: Audio Station, Download
Station, Surveillance Station, Video Station, File Station.
