Maximum open circuit voltage of the PV strings
It is essential to check if the PV modules produce a voltage within the
specified tolerable input voltage range in their rated temperature range.
The maximum open circuit voltage of the connected PV string may not
exceed the specified maximum DC input voltage.
The open circuit voltage of the PV panel depends on its cell temperature as well as
solar radiation. The maximum open circuit voltage of the PV panel is reached at the
lowest cell temperature. Therefore when planning a PV plant take into account the
lowest possible ambient temperature of the PV panel. Based on this temperature the
maximum open-circuit voltage of the PV panel can be calculated if the type of PV
module is known. You can enter these data into our EXCEL

whether the maximum admissible input voltage of the Sunny Boy is not exceeded in
