Connection display (for CVO units)
Proceed as follows:
- plug in the connector minifit to connector placed on rear of unit
- connect the terminal on display
- optional: put display in metal support (supplied) for fixing to wall
ATTENTION!
Before carrying out any work on the unit, disconnect the power
supply
Sequencing function (2 units)
To connect two units in in sequencing, proceed as follows:
-
remove evaporator plate from the two units
-
break micro-jointed hole placed on upper position (right) of
both evaporator plate
-
connect sequecing cable ACASEQ on connector DI4 of electrical
board XCB of first unit
-
pass sequencing cable on hole of first evaporator plate (made
previously)
-
fix evaporator plate on first unit
-
pass sequencing cable on hole of second evaporator plate
(made previously)
-
connect sequencing cable on connector DI4 of electrical board
XCB of second unit
-
fix evaporator plate on second unit
-
carry out the modification procedure of sequencing parameter
as described on chapter 7
It is advised the cable is shielded and inside metal tubes. In these
tubes other cables mustn’t be except signal cables.
MODBUS function
To connect serial port ACASPM, proceed as follows:
-
remove evaporator plate from the two units
-
break micro-jointed hole placed on upper position (right) of
evaporator plate
-
connect cable to connector BMS on electrical board XCB
-
pass cable on hole (made previously) and fix
-
connect cable to hardware key
-
connect the system to e – of hardware key
-
carry out the modification procedure of modbus parameters as
described on chapter 7
Installation remote probe
-
remove evaporator plate
-
break micro-jointed hole placed on upper position (right) of
evaporator plate
-
disconnect standard probe to connector B1 and connect remote
probe ACARES

It is necessary to place air probe in a zone where there is air
circulation and to avoid the air conditioner intakes air with lower
temperature than minimin limit temperature showed in technical
label.
NON-COMPLIANCE WITH ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS WILL NOT ONLY
COMPROMISE THE OPERATION OF THE UNIT, BUT WILL ALSO

a loss of coolant, on the inside or the outside, then the equipment
must be thoroughly checked before starting the unit. If necessary,
please contact our Aftersales department.
