Monitoring Energy Consumption
The Energy Audit page shows a bar graph of the amount of energy your nTier700 VTL
is using. The graph and the information below it lets you monitor the nTier700 VTL’s
maximum, average, and the total energy consumption over specific ranges of days and
time intervals. Each bar in the graph represents a single unit of the selected time
interval. When you select a bar, it highlights yellow and the amount of energy that bar
represents displays.
Use the following steps to view the energy audit data for the nTier700 VTL.
1.
Log into the BlueScale web interface (see Accessing the BlueScale Web Interface on
page 48)
2.
Select
General > Energy Audit
to display the Energy Audit screen. (Figure 4-10). By
default, the graph shows energy consumption in watts for 30-minute intervals over
the last 2.5 days.
