Before You Begin
Before you begin configuring the Spectra nTier700 VTL, perform the following tasks:
Install the nTier700 VTL and connect it to an Ethernet network (see
Connecting the
Cables and Powering On
on page 40).
Make sure Ethernet port 1 on the nTier700 VTL has a valid IP address and you
know what that address is (see
Setting the IP Address for Ethernet Port 1
on
page 42).
Install VTL Console on a Windows-based computer connected to the same network
as the nTier700 VTL. Read the I
