This section describes the power specifications for the Spectra nTier700 VTL.
Input Power Requirements
The following table shows input power requirements for the Spectra nTier700 VTL.
Power Cord Specifications
Note:
Three power cords are included with the nTier700 VTL and are
considered part of the unit. Do not use them with any other
equipment.
120 Volt-AC Power Cord for Use
in North America
The power cords included with
the Spectra nTier700 VTL appliance are standard, three-conductor, 16-AWG power
cords safe for 120-volt use in the United States and Canada. The cable has a molded
NEMA 5-15P male connector to plug into an electrical outlet and a molded IEC
60320 C13 female connector to plug into the nTier700 VTL power supply.
220 Volt-AC Power Cord for Use in North America
The criteria for a 220-volt AC
power cord for the nTier700 VTL are as follows:
It must have a molded IEC 60320 C13 female connector to connect to the
nTier700 VTL power supply.
It must be SJT type, three-conductor, 18 AWG minimum.
It must comply with local electrical code.
