Select “Continue to this website” to ignore the warning and display the main system
Overview page (Figure 3-2).
Note:
The graphic in the BlueScale web interface shows six blades. Only
the three left-most blades are used in the nTier700 VTL.

To exit the BlueScale web interface, simply close the browser.
Configuring Additional Network Connections
The nTier700 VTL includes four onboard Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) ports on the
nTier700 VTL rear panel (see Figure 1-4 on page 21). Depending on your
configuration, you may have one additional 10 GigE NIC installed in the bottom
expansion slot of the VTL server.
Ethernet port 1 is typically used to access the nTier700 VTL BlueScale web interface
during configuration. You can configure the IP addressing for each of the other
Ethernet ports and use them to connect the nTier700 VTL to additional networks or
iSCSI devices. You can then assign different uses for each network connection. For
example, you might use one network connection for archiving virtual tapes to physical
tapes in a library connected to the network.
Note:
After you set the IP addresses Ethernet ports 2 through 4, you can
also use any of these ports to access the nTier700 VTL BlueScale
web interface.
