- Indicates the start delimiter must be the first non-blank
character in the line in order to be considered the start of a comment. This check box is available
only when the

Check for start delimiter first
- When this option is selected, the lexer checks for the start delimiter
before looking for other items. When this option is specified, the start delimiter is limited to one char-
acter in length.

End delimiter must be the last character on the line
- When this option is selected, the end delim-
iter text must occur at the end of a line to terminate the comment.
•
Only when start delimiter is in column
- Indicates that the start delimiter text starts a comment only
when found in the column specified.
•
Color as
- Specifies color used for this comment. This color is not used when the start delimiter is im-
mediately followed by one of the Comment Keywords. When the start delimiter is immediately fol-
lowed by one of the Comment Keywords, keyword color is used.

HTML and XML. From the main menu, click
Window
→
Preferences
, expand
SlickEdit
and click
Gener-
al
in the tree, then double-click the
Color Coding
setting and select the
Tags
tab.
