PH Troubleshooting
Digital display output
Description
Ambient temperature too high protection in heating mode.
All units stop running.
Error code is displayed on main PCB and user interface.
Possible causes
Temperature sensor not connected properly or has malfunctioned.
Actual ambient temperature is higher than 43
℃
.
Main PCB damaged.
Procedure
For SCV-750EB and SCV-1400EB
PH
Outdoor ambient temperature sensor T4
connection on main PCB is loose
1
Yes
Ensure the sensor is connected properly
No
Outdoor ambient temperature sensor T4 has
short-circuited or failed
2
Yes
Replace the sensor
No
Ambient temperature sensor is interfered by
other heat sources
Yes
Eliminate interfering heat source
No
Replace main PCB
Notes:
1.
T4 temperature sensor connection is port CN30 on the main PCB
(labeled 23 in Part 4, 2.2.1 Main PCB component).
2.
Measure sensor resistance. If the resistance is too low, the sensor has short-circuited. If the resistance is not consistent with the sensor’s resistance
characteristics table, the sensor has failed. Refer to Table 5-5.1 in Part 5, 5.1 “Temperature Sensor Resistance Characteristics”.
