SIMOTION devices in the hardware catalog

You can find the SIMOTION devices in the corresponding directories of the hardware catalog

in HW Config.

With SIMOTION D, the SINAMICS version is selected in addition to the SIMOTION version.

The SIMOTION version determines whether one or more SINAMICS versions are available.

Adding interfaces

After you have inserted the SIMOTION device, the dialog for configuring the interfaces opens

Note
With SIMOTION D, the PROFIBUS subnet PROFIBUS Integrated DP master system is created

and configured automatically. The user may neither configure nor select it!
