In order to enable incoming data bits:

Basically this dialog is divided into two areas: 

Gateway data set from network

Tag names

 [2]: 

The 

Gateway data set from network

 area shows the current configuration of the output 

modules. 
The 

Tag names

 area shows the tag names associated to the byte selected in the 

Gateway data set from network

 area. 

Select a byte in the 

Gateway data set from network

 area. 

For each bit of the selected byte that you wish to use, enter a tag name in the
