Trace Statistics
The analyzer has three functions of trace statistics: mean, offset and peak-peak value. The statistical values can be calculated within
the whole stimulus bandwidth or user-defined bandwidth. Each channel supports nine user setting ranges, which are the same as the
search domains set by user in the function of marker search. The same memory address is applied, so the same stimulus settings are
shared. If the search domain to be set by the channel user is defined by marker search, the same stimulus settings can be called by
selecting the corresponding user settings in trace statistics. The ranges of user settings are allowed to be overlapping.
It is not required to search the maximum and minimum value in the function of trace statistics, and the peak-peak value of pass band
ripple can be measured easily. The statistical values of trace are calculated according to the data display format.
Rectangular coordinate format: the statistical values of trace are calculated according to the displayed scalar data.
Polar coordinate and Smith chart format: the statistical values of trace are calculated according to the value displayed in the log
magnitude format.
3) Activation of trace statistics
Menu path: [Analysis] > [Trace statistics]. The dialog box of trace statistics will appear.

a) [Statistics > Peak to Peak, Mean, Standard Deviation, Max, Min] check box
If this check box is selected, the function of trace statistics will be enabled. If this check box is cleared, the function of trace statistics
will be disabled.
b) [Span] box
Set the span of trace statistics. Nine user settings can be selected within the whole bandwidth or customized, or the user settings can
be customized through the marker search dialog box.
c) User domain definition zone
[Start] box
Customize the starting value of the user setting span.
[Stop] box
Customize the ending value of the user setting span.
