3) Click [Measurement] > [S12].
4) Click [Scale] > [Reference value] and enter -100.
5) Click [Sweep] > [Number of sweep points], and enter 101.
6) Click [Response] > [Average] > [Intermediate frequency bandwidth], and enter 1Hz.
7) Click [Calibration] > [Non-guided calibration] and [Through type response and isolation].
8) Click [Selection of calibration kit] > [AV31121] > [Through type] to start through type calibration.
9) After through type calibration, as shown in Fig. 11.9, disconnect the tow cables and connect loads to two calibration cable
ports.
10) Select [Load]. Select [Enable averaging] in the pop-up dialog box. Set the averaging factor as 8, and continue calibration.
11) After all calibrations, click [OK]. Then click [Response] > [Average] > [Averaging factor] and enter 8 to enable the averaging
function.
12) After averaging, the maximum value of the displayed curve within each frequency range is the dynamic range of Port 1.

Test of dynamic range of Port 3:
15) As shown in Fig. 11.10, connect the system.
16) Click [Measurement] > [S34].
17) Click [Calibration] > [Non-guided calibration] and [Through type response and isolation].
18) Click [Selection of calibration kit] > [AV31121] > [Through type] to start through type calibration.
19) After through type calibration, as shown in Fig. 11, disconnect the tow cables and connect loads to two calibration cable ports.
20) Select [Load]. Select [Enable averaging] in the pop-up dialog box. Set the averaging factor as 8, and continue calibration.
21) After all calibrations, click [OK]. Then click [Response] > [Average] > [Averaging factor] and enter 8 to enable the averaging
function.
22) The maximum value of the displayed curve within each frequency range is the dynamic range of Port 3.
