RG GSN Security Solution Introduction
RG GSN Security Solution consists of the following four elements:
1. RG Security policy Management Platform
2. RG Security Agent
3. RG Restore System
4. RG Security Switch
RG SMP
RG Security policy Management Platform allows or disallows the data and packet
transmission within the range of some conditions by the policy setting. Policy
installation refers to install the policy to the device, while policy uninstallation refers to
remove the policy from the device.
RG Security Agent
RG Security Agent is a software running in every host accessing to the network in
the enterprise network, which is responsible for the agent information collection, user
network action recognision, monitoring of agent network communication and secure
status, and sending the information to the SMP for the convenience of the
administrator to make the corresponding secure policy. Meanwhile, RG Security
Agent automatically downloads new secure policy from the SMP and implement the
specified secure policy at the local end.
RG Restore System
RG Restore System performs the following operations for the abnormal actions:
For the users not correspond to the enterprise secure policy, the administrator shall
pre-set the corresponding policies in the RG SMP, which shield the network access
privilege of the
“illegal users” and leave a green secure channel connected to the
enterprise secure policy upgrade server only including Windows patch upgrade
server, virus upgrade library server of anti-virus software, or other enterprise upgrade
servers.
Once the security agent detects that the secure policy of the agent itself does not
corresponds with the security level made by the SMP, the agent uploads the secure
log messages to the SMP. The SMP selects one of the pre-set policy collection
according to the log messages, and assigns this policy to all security switches. The
security switch accepts the newest policy configuration and enables the
“illegal user”
