Configuration Guide
FTP Client Configuration
Introduction to FTP Client
Instead of any standard FTP client using interactive commands, Ruijie FTP Client uses the
copy
command to complete
the steps of open, user and pass. After control connection is established, it will enter file transfer process and establish
data connection, allowing file upload or download.
Our former products support TFTP, yet TFTP is only used for the transfer of small files. FTP protocol
supports the transfer of large files. Implementing FTP allows the file transfer between local device and remote client
and server.
