c) Setting the Shock Absorbers
Front axle
Rear axle
A knurled wheel (A) permits adjustment of the spring pre-tension.
Professional drivers may install the shock absorbers at the dampener bridge (B) and at the lower transverse link (C)
in different positions to adjust the conduct of the shock absorbers when deflecting in and out.
Always set the shock absorbers for one axle evenly (at the left and right wheels of the front or rear axle). Otherwise,
driving behaviour will be influenced negatively.
Professional drivers may also use springs with a different stiffness or damper oil of a different viscosity for filling the
shock absorbers. Model vehicle beginners, however, will not find any difference in the driving behaviour here.
