This alarm occurs if the water pressure is so high that the metering
time is shorter than 2 seconds. The following causes are possible:
n
The pressure reducing valve is faulty.
n
The water pressure is too high.
This alarm occurs if no process water is measured because the
valve to fill the caustic tank has been activated. This alarm may
have been caused by a leak in the filling valve 4SV9
This alarm is triggered if there is a thermal fault at the fan 4P15.
The following causes are possible:
n
The fan is operating under excessive load.
n
One phase of the fans' power supply has failed.
n
One of the electrical connections is faulty.
This alarm occurs if the temperature of the lye rises to over 50 °C.
The following causes are possible:
n
The cooling water valve is not mechanically opened.
n
The manual valve is closed.
n
No cooling water is being supplied.
n
The cooling water supply is too low.
n
The cooling water does not flow through the heat exchanger in
the production tank.
This alarm occurs if the sensor air flow does not switch off the
system within 2 minutes when the fans are switched off. The fans
switch off when they are manually turned off or 10 minutes after
production stops. The following causes are possible:
n
The sensor air flow is faulty.
n
The sensor air flow is not correctly set up.
9.1.6 Membrane cells
This alarm occurs if the liquid level in the anode regeneration line
is too high. The following causes are possible:
n
The brine valve has an internal leak.
n
The regeneration valve has an internal leak.
n
The product valve is faulty.
n
Liquid leaks from a membrane in the membrane cell into the
anode regeneration line.
n
The level switch is faulty.
n
The anode regeneration line and/or the measuring line is
blocked.
This alarm occurs if the liquid level in the anode regeneration line
is too low. The following causes are possible:
n
The brine valve has an internal leak.
n
There is no process water in the brine tank.
n
The anode regeneration line and/or the measuring line is
blocked.
Water supply too high
Valve to fill the caustic tank is faulty
Thermal overload of the fans
Lye temperature is too high
The sensor air flow is faulty
Level at the anode is too high
Level at the anode is too low
