Step 1.
Remove the optics cover. Refer to 7-1.D.
Step 2.
Note the position (12 o'clock) of the reference dot located on the scan lens
housing.
Step 3.
While holding the scan lens in place, loosen the two screw that secure the scan
lens housing to the base casting.
Step 4.
Lift scan lens away from base casting.
Step 5.
Inspect scan lens for dirt. Refer to the optics cleaning procedure in Section 6 if
needed.
Step 6.
Replace scan lens in reverse order of removal.
