PbmUt <0-4> - Set Current PBM Under Test
Examples of Level 2 Commands/Options:
1. To run the Level 2 tests on PB Module 1,
type, "PBMUT 1" <return> at the WCB>> prompt.
When the prompt returns, type, "test" <return>
PB Module 1 will be tested with Level 2 tests.
2. To get a summary of all the tests performed:
type, "summary" at the WCB>> prompt. A summary of test statistics will be
displayed.
3. To return to the PROM Monitor " ]" while at the WCB>> prompt, type "Q", to quit.
4. To execute the Level 2 Tests from the PROM Monitor " ] ",
type "D". After the Diagnostic Option Menu is displayed, type "C" to execute Level
2 Tests.
5. To exit Diagnostic Option Menu and restart the recorder, type "Q" to quit. At the
PROM Monitor " ] ", type "RES" <return>.
Diagnostics Options Menu
As shown above, the Level 2 Diagnostics (option C) may be accessed from the Diagnostics
Options Menu. Other options such as modifying the debug baud rate, enable/disable Level 2
Diagnostics during power-up, etc. are available. The following pages will provide a walk
through of options A, B, D, E.
At the PROM Monitor prompt, " ] ", type <D> and return. The following Diagnostics Options
Menu will be displayed:
A - Modify DEBUG Port Baud Rate: [19200 BAUD]
B - Enable/Disable Level 2 Diagnostics
C - Execute Level 2 Diagnostics
D - Display/Modify Control Register
E - Display/Modify System Debug Register
Enter menu option or Q to quit:
Enter option "A", set debug baud rate to 9600 for remote access.
The following menu is displayed:
Communication Options Menu
DEBUG Port Baud Rate: [9600 BAUD]
A - 1200 Baud
