7-15 Second Cylinder Lens Assembly (Refer to Figure 7-3)
Step 1.  

Open the supply cassette door.

Step 2. 

Remove the four screw (two in  some earlier units) which secure the supply 
cassette bottom shield to the base casting. Be careful not to damage the 
SOL/SOL amplifier assembly.

Step 3. 

Carefully lift supply cassette shield away from SOL sensor and disconnect the 
smart cassette memory cable from main harness.

Note: Observe the (left to right) position of the second cylinder lens in respect to the left
most pin.

Step 4.  

Remove the two second cylinder lens spring and clip assemblies.

Step 5. 

Carefully loosen one of the two hex nuts to allow the second cylinder
lens to move (spring) away from the base casting mounting pin.
After the lens has moved away from the pin, hand tighten the hex nut to insure the
lens will remain in a vertical position when the other hex nut is loosened.

Step 6. 

Carefully loosen the hex nut on the opposite end of second cylinder lens and 
slide "L" bracket  about 0.25 inches away from lens.
