20 Disposal
CAUTION
Comply with all applicable regulations when disposing of waste materials
from Planmeca products.
In order to reduce the environmental load over the product’s entire life cycle,
Planmeca products are designed to be as safe as possible to manufacture,
use and dispose of.
Parts which can be recycled should always be taken to the appropriate
processing centres, after hazardous waste has been removed. Disposal of
obsolete devices is the responsibility of the possessor.
All parts and components containing hazardous materials, such as oil and
heavy metals, must be disposed of in accordance with local and national
waste legislation and instructions issued by the environmental authorities.
The risks involved and the necessary precautions must be taken into
account when handling waste products. For more detailed information,
consult your Planmeca representative.
Batteries must be disposed of following the requirements of Directive
2006/66/EEC and in accordance with waste legislation and instructions
issued by the environmental authorities.
This product must NOT be disposed of with other waste. It is the user’s
responsibility to dispose of their electrical and electronic waste equipment by
handing it over to an approved reprocessor, or by returning it to Planmeca
for reprocessing. For more information on where you can send your waste
equipment for recycling, please contact your local city office or Planmeca.
