Troubleshooting Tips
If problems occur while monitoring the ECG, check the table below for aid in troubleshooting.
For basic troubleshooting problems, such as no power, see General Troubleshooting Tips (on
page 214).

Secure trunk cable clasp to
patient’s clothing.

Prepare skin and apply new
electrodes.

monitor automatically switched
to Lead II, but ECG leads are
not connected.

Connect ECG leads and initiate
pacing.
