Clarus 500 GC Installation Guide

Connect the ElCD

If you ordered your Clarus 500 GC with either an EICD (also called a Hall detector) or an
EICD in series with a photoionization detector (PID), you must perform the following
procedures:

•

Connect the EICD Control Unit to the EICD Components

•

Connect the EICD solvent system

•

Make the EICD/PID series connection

•

Check the calibration

•

If necessary, convert the EICD Control Unit line voltage setting to 230-V operation.
Refer to the procedure described in the

Tremetrics Instruction Manual

that is shipped

with the Control Unit.

WARNING

Never operate the Control Unit at an incorrect voltage setting.
