Connecting the Gases and Electrical Supply

Connect the brown wire to line (AC Hot). 

•

 

Connect the blue wire to line (AC Hot). 

•

 

Connect the green/yellow wire to chassis ground. 

2.

 

Remove the three screws that secure the right side panel to the Clarus 500 GC and 
remove the panel. 

3.

 

Verify that the brown wire from the line filter is connected to E1, that the blue wire 
from the line filter is connected to E2, and that the green/yellow wire is connected to 
E3 on the AC Distribution P.C. board (see Figure 23). 

4.

 

Cut and remove the wire that is used as a jumper across the F3 fuse holder. Make sure 
that the 10-A Slow-Blow fuse remains installed in the F3 fuse holder. 

5.

 

Replace the right side panel and connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.
