Environmental Requirements:
Pollution Degree:
This instrument will operate safely in environments
that contain nonconductive foreign matter up to
Pollution Degree 2 as defined in IEC 1010-1.
Laboratory Environment:
Install the GC in an indoor laboratory environment
that is clean and is free of drafts, direct sunlight and
vibration.
The laboratory should be free of flammable,
explosive, toxic, caustic, or corrosive vapors or
gases and should be relatively free of dust.
The ambient laboratory temperature should be
between 10 °C and 35 °C (50 °F and 95 °F) with a
relative humidity between 20% and 80% with no
condensation. The GC will operate safely between 5
°C and 40 °C (41 °F and 104 °F).

Installation Category Statement:
This instrument is able to withstand transient
over-voltage according to Installation
Category II as defined in IEC 1010-1.
Power Consumption:
2 400 VA (volt-amps) for the GC. Add
100 VA for the computer and 108 VA for the
printer.
