VPS Limitations

The KX-TVP50 does not support:

UCD functions 

UCD (Uniform Call Distribution) is a service that distributes calls evenly among extensions 
and returns to callers to say that all extensions are busy. Calls can be forwarded by the KX-
TVP50 to the KX-TD1232/816/612 floating number of a UCD group. The call then rings at the 
next available phone.

The KX-TVP50 supports UCD functions with very limited capabilities.

 Because the incoming 

call is forwarded as an intercom path and not a DIL (direct in line), the following items will 
not work:

•

time table

•

overflow function

•

DISA message from a DISA card

•

IRNA

Integration with the wrong PBX or with certain Key Systems presents limitations to the KX-
TVP50's standard functions.

 We do not recommend these systems for integration with the 

KX-TVP50. The section 1.3.3

Which Phone Systems are Compatible? explains problems 

with compatibility.
