Relation Between Setting Condition and
Sampling Cycle
The sampling cycle (=measurement cycle) varies depending on some setting
conditions.
The following conditions that affect the sampling cycle are available:
1)
Measurement mode: Whole-synchro/multi-zone beam control/constant
pitch/multi-select displacement
2)
Measuring range: Width (X), height (Z)
3)
Number of multi-select measurements (at multi-select displacement sensing)
4)
Unit detection time
5)
Number of light intensity controls for each intensity control
6)
Wide cell (at constant pitch measurement and multi-select displacement
sensing)
7)
Number of head connections
8)
Settings to use OUT1, OUT2, OUT3 and OUT-OUT calculation, total
judgment, shape judgment and the filter process of the calculated results
(median filtering process)
9)
Existence of X position correction
10)
Use of edge detection direction (Right to Left)
11)
Existence of mask processing
12)
Use of slope correction for every measurement
The sampling cycle is displayed under the version information at the upper
right of the main screen.
● Whole synchronized measurement mode
The sampling cycle varies depending on the measuring range (X, Z), number
of OUT settings and number of head connections. No variation occurs with
the unit detection time setting.
The sampling cycle varies when the number of OUT calculations (*1) used is
increased, and the X position correction, edge detection direction (Right to
Left), mask processing, slope correction for every measurement, median fi l-
tering process and etc. are used.
