Position adjustment of sensor head
Check the mounting direction of the sensor head. Mount the
head so that the line laser direction may be aligned to the object
to be measured.
Adjust the position of the measuring surface on measurement
object around the measurement center. After the power supply,
confirm that the measurement range indicator of the sensor head
lights or is blinking in continuous measurement.

Move the measurement object to make sure that the displacement
of object is within the measurement range.

Basic settings
Select the measurement mode according to the application.
"Multi-zone B.C. meas." is set by default.
In measuring the waveform of a static workpiece, it does not
have to be changed.
“4-4-2 Head Setting”
Set the tab item for "Each mode" as necessary.
The default value for sensitivity is controlled to
"100 μm width"
and the number of light intensity adjustment "
2 times
".

Then,
"Get image"
on the
"Detect image"
screen.
Confirm that the beam image corresponding to the workpiece
shape is obtained. Also confirm that the shape waveform is
correctly obtained.

If the detected light intensity is not sufficient, increase

"Unit detection time"

Then, set the measurement and judgment (OUT output)
condition of the
Waveform calculation.
By default, "Normal meas." is performed for the "Average height"
of Head A. Change the measurement conditions as necessary.
