STEP8 Measuring multi-select displacement sensing
With the " Multi-select displacement sensing mode " , displacement of limited
locations (10 points maximum) can be measured at high speed. Desired positions
from limited locations can be selected to measure and judge the step calculation.
In measurement mode selection, select
" Multi-select D.S. meas. "
.
“4-4-2 Head Setting”
Then,
"Get image"
on the
"Detect image"
screen.
Confirm that the beam image corresponding to the workpiece
shape is obtained.
(Overall image as well as the specified position are obtained.)
Also confirm that the displacement plot is correctly obtained. If
the detected light intensity is not sufficient, increase the Unit
detection time.
“4-4-2 Head Setting”
Set the number of measurements and the positions for displacement.
Maximum ten locations for displacement can be measured.
Set the width and processing method of
"Wide cell"
as necessary.
"4-4-3 Setting for Measurement Mode·"
For processing in the wide cell, individual settings are available.
Select the position for height (step) calculation.
Change the measurement conditions as necessary.
“4-4-4 OUT Setting”
When the settings are changed, send them to the sensor with
"SEND" .
Press the "Measurement start" button at the center of the main
screen to start measurement and judgment.

Press the
"Meas. val. display"
button at the upper part of the
main screen to display the measurement value window.
Height (step) calculation measurement and judgment statuses are
displayed.
Press the
"M.S.D.S. display"
button to display the displacement
of the designated position.
