2. Training Priming Video, select Training to view priming directions for
DyeVert Plus only
a.
Select
manifold type for training video
3. New Case Set-Up
a.
Push Display Power-On
button if applicable. Let system warm-up for
60-90 seconds.
b.
Assemble disposables
to applicable cath lab components (e.g. manifold)
and perform priming per the disposable Instructions for Use.
c.
Remove battery pull tabs
from disposables by pulling the tab straight out
from the disposable. Do NOT hold the disposable down against the table
such that the pull tab is against the table when removing the pull tab.
Note:
It is recommended to leave all battery pull tabs in the disposable
devices until all priming is complete and the case is ready to begin. This will
ensure maximum battery life and performance throughout the case.

Confirm wireless connection
of the Display and disposables. Following
scanning, the LEDs on the disposables will flash in the same pattern as
shown on the Display for proper identification.
1) Select
Yes on the Display
to confirm Syringe flashing.
2) Select
Yes
on the Display to confirm Module flashing.
Note: Selecting
No
will result in further scanning.
Note: The green LED on the device will remain on for 10 seconds when
the device is connected to the Display.
Alternate Wireless Connection Confirmation
Alternately: Confirmation of connection to the Pressure Module, DyeVert
Plus Module or DyeVert Plus EZ Module can be accomplished by
pressing the pause button and confirmation of connection to the Smart
Syringe can be accomplished by moving the plunger > 2 mL.

5. Pause/Resume System Operation
When system is in “Pause” mode, cumulative contrast accounting is
suspended. “Resume” mode allows contrast accounting.

on Display, turn DyeVert Stopcock “OFF” to contrast savings
(DyeVert Plus only) or press Module pause button. LED’s on Smart Syringe
& Module will blink yellow and background on Display will change to yellow.

Syringe & Module will blink yellow and background on Display will change
to yellow.

Aspirate contrast into Smart Syringe (resumes automatically), turn DyeVert

background.

If contrast is injected back to the source, the system does NOT need to be
paused. The system will automatically recognize this as not being
administered to the patient.
Contrast Accounting Accuracy Tips:

if contrast is not being injected to patient.
Ensure system is
Active
(unpaused) when contrast is being injected to
patient.
Battery Preservation Tip:
Place the Smart Syringe plunger in the fully aspirated or fully injected
position.
Place the DyeVert Plus or DyeVert Plus EZ reservoir plunger in the
complete empty or full position (i.e., aspirate all contrast from reservoir
OR fill reservoir with a full injection from the Smart Syringe).
6. End Case

Caution: Ending case will permanently disable communication between the
Display and disposables.
Caution: End Case must be selected prior to powering down the Display.
Powering down display before ending case may lead to inaccurate
accounting on next patient case.
