I/O Allocations to CompoNet Master Unit

Section 5-3

Doing a Check of the Communications Status with the CX-Integrator

You can use the CX-Integrator to do a check of the communications status.

Start the CX-Integrator. 

2.

Right-click the icon of CompoNet Communications Unit and select 

Main-

tenance Information

. (From the Maintenance Mode Window, double-click

the icon.) The Monitor Window will show. 

3.

Click the 

Status

 Tab. The window will show the communications status of

the SmartSlice I/O Units. 

These are the meanings of the colors of the status indicators. 

• Red: The Alarm Status Bit for the SmartSlice I/O Unit is ON. 

• Yellow: The Warning Status Bit for the SmartSlice I/O Unit is ON. 

• Blue: The SmartSlice I/O Unit is communicating as normal.
