I/O Allocations to CompoNet Master Unit

Status of the
CompoNet
Communications Unit
This status word shows the status of the SmartSlice I/O Units in the Smart-
Slice I/O Terminal, the connection status with the CompoNet Master Unit, and
other status.
By default, the system allocates 1 word of the Input Area.
The flags in this word show the status. You can use the CX-Integrator or
explicit messages to read these flags.
The table below gives the meanings of the flags.

SmartSlice Bus Communica-
tions Error Flag
OFF: Normal, ON: Communi-
cations error
This flag turns ON when there is a commu-
nications error in the SmartSlice bus in the
SmartSlice I/O Terminal.

SmartSlice I/O Unit Warning
Flag
OFF: Normal, ON: Error
This flag turns ON when there is a minor
error in a SmartSlice I/O Unit. It will turn ON
when there is an error in one or more of the
SmartSlice I/O Units in the SmartSlice I/O
Terminal.

SmartSlice I/O Unit Alarm
Flag
OFF: Normal, ON: Error
This flag turns ON when there is a serious
error in a SmartSlice I/O Unit. It will turn ON
when there is an error in one or more of the
SmartSlice I/O Units in the SmartSlice I/O
Terminal.
