2. Press ENTER to continue to the diagnostic screen. When viewing the test screen, the input status will be
shown at the top of the display and the output status will be shown at the bottom of the display (Figure 5-5).
Focus is shown on Output #1 first.

3. Focus for control of a specific output is indicated by reverse video of the number above the output. When
an output is in focus, pressing the UP navigation key turns the output ON. A smaller, solid circle is shown
to indicate that output is ON. This is shown in Figure 5-6.

4. Pressing the DOWN navigation key returns the output in focus to the OFF condition and the circle is shown
as empty.
5. Focus can be moved to any of the other outputs by using the LEFT or RIGHT navigation key. Each of the
outputs can then be turned ON with the UP navigation key or OFF with the DOWN navigation key.
6. To end the test and exit, press the ENTER key.

Note that when the Discrete I/O Test screen is exited, all outputs will be turned off again.
5.4 System Backup and Restore
The optional SD memory card provides a medium to store a setup file containing the indicator
’s configuration.
All setup parameters are saved in a file named T72XW_nn.txt
where “nn” can be a number between 01 and 99.
The file is stored in a folder called T72XWBKUP on the SD memory card. The saved file can be restored to the
indicator in case the data is lost or after the setup is totally cleared with a master reset.
The SD memory card supports saving of as many as 99 setup files.
The backup and restore sequences of prompts are initiated from the setup mode by access in the Maintenance >
Backup to SD or Maintenance > Restore from SD blocks.
The SD memory card is not hot-swappable.
The SD memory media provided by OHAUS CORPORATION as an option has been fully tested for correct
operation. While other SD memory media may work, some may not work correctly. OHAUS CORPORATION will
only support correct operation of the SD memory card model offered as the T72XW indicator accessory.
5.4.1 Backup to SD Memory Card
1. Remove power from the indicator and insert the SD memory card if not already installed.
