If you cannot receive mail
When mail is delivered to the i-mode Center, it is
immediately sent to your i-mode terminal. However,
if your i-mode terminal is turned off or you are
outside the i-mode service area and cannot receive
mail, the mail is kept at the i-mode Center.
While mail is kept at the i-mode Center, it is resent a
maximum of 3 times over a set period of time.
Also, setting the Receive option enables you to
receive the selected i-mode mail stored at the
i-mode Center.

Other useful features
■
Sending and receiving files
For i-mode mails (2M bytes compatible), there is
no restriction on the attachable file types. You can
attach and send up to 10 files, the total of 2M
bytes in total, to a mail. You can receive all the
files when receiving as i-mode mail (2M byte
compatible). You can automatically receive the file
up to 100K bytes (Auto received attached file),
and you can select only the necessary files to
receive the file which is more than 100K bytes
and less than 2M bytes (Selective received
attached file). You can also select the files to
receive regardless of the file size by the Prefer
attachment setting on the FOMA terminal even
when the file size is 100K bytes or less.
When the attached files are received on the other
models, only the files compatible with the terminal
are received within the mail receivable capacity.
■
Deco-mail
You can compose and send your own distinctive
personalized mail or to receive attractively
decorated mail by allowing you to vary the text
size or change the background color, etc. when
editing mail, or by pasting images into the
message body. As there are many pre-installed
Decorate PI that can be inserted to mails like
pictographs, you can compose and send
expressive mail not only by changing the
character color, size, or background color of the
message body (if you receive decorated mail from
a PC, it may not run as it did on the PC because
some decorating features are not supported on
the i-mode terminal).
When you send Deco-mail to a terminal that does
not support Deco-Mail or a terminal which
supports Deco-mail up to 10,000 bytes, it may be
receives as a mail with the URL written. The
recipient can view the Deco-mail by selecting the
URL.
