<UIM operation>
Managing the Phonebook and SMS
(Short Message) on the FOMA Card
You can transfer phonebook and SMS data back
and forth between the FOMA terminal (Phone) and
the FOMA card (UIM). You can also delete SMS
data and phonebook entries stored on the FOMA
terminal (Phone) or FOMA card (UIM).
●
You cannot call/receive voice calls or videophone
calls, or send/receive mail while copying or deleting
data.
●
You cannot copy items that cannot be stored in the
UIM phonebook.

stored entries that can be copied

● You can save the received SMS and sent SMS up to
20 in total on the FOMA card (UIM).

Once you enter your security code, “ ” appears and
you can no longer receive communication such as
incoming calls. If you receive a call or similar
communication before entering your security code, the

When you attempt to delete an image or a movie that has
been set to screen or a melody that has been set as a ring
tone, a message appears asking whether to delete it. If you
delete the data, the corresponding screen or ring tone is set
to the default.
