Changing the Shooting Settings
You can change the camera settings such as the
zoom or Auto timer.
Using the zoom
Using the zoom enables you to adjust the image
being shot to your desired size.
●
You can select the zoom between 1× and approx. 5×
among 16 steps for shooting by the rear camera in
Photo mode, continuous shooting and Movie mode.
However, you cannot select the zoom when the
image size is SXGA (1,280 × 960).

You can set this setting in 2 steps for the front
camera. However, you can adjust only when the
image size is as follows:

Using the auto timer

The Auto timer is reset to “OFF” each time you finish
shooting.

“10 seconds” is the default setting.

If you set the Auto timer
The “
” icon appears on the screen to show that
the Auto timer is set.
Pressing

(Record) makes the Auto
timer tone and the Auto timer starts.
The incoming call lamp flashes in blue
and “
” in the display also flashes.
The countdown tone sounds about five seconds before the
shooting. The incoming call lamp flashes rapidly.
