Machine Authentication
The
Machine Authentication
submenu lets you register the Cirrus LT into a Micro-
soft Active Directory as a computer object. It can then logon to the domain in the
future as a computer object using machine authentication instead of user authenti-
cation.
To authenticate a machine:
1.
Click the
Administrator
submenu.
2.
Click
Machine Authentication
.
3.
The following submenu should appear (shown below). Enter the follow-
ing information:
a. Under
Controller Authorization
, enter the machine name and its com-
plete domain here.
b. Under
Controller Credential
, type in the admin user name and pass-
word.
c. Under
Network SSID,
enter the Network SSID.
4.
When you are done, click the “Authenticate Machine” button, as shown
below.
