3.3 REFILLING THE INK AND JET WASH FLUID
Read the following information on when and how to refill the ink and the jet wash fluid.
(1) Refilling period
Refill the ink in the following cases
a. When the amount left in the main tank becomes low
•
Printing will continue to be performed.
•
Before the ink runs out, prepare the ink for refilling.
•
The following message is displayed on the operation panel.
b. When the ink inside the main tank is run out
•
Printing operation stops.
•
Refill with new ink immediately.
•
The following message is displayed on the operation panel.
Notes
•
When the ink runs out or is close to being empty, the colour of the ink that needs refilling will be
indicated as follows:
o
K:
Black
o
C:
Cyan
o
c: Light Cyan
o
M:
Magenta
o
m: Light Magenta
o
Y:
Yellow
•
After the message "Near End" has been displayed on the operation panel, about 6m2(66.7ft2) (When
"Quality" in the setup menu is set to 360×720dpi) of printing is possible, until the ink runs out.

Even when the "No Ink" is displayed at the control panel, there may be a small amount of ink left in the
main tank.
